USING THE CHEST TO CONTROL THE BALL

 

 

 

 

Learning to control an elevated ball using the chest is a critical game functional technique to get comfortable with.

Young players struggle with dealing with an elevated ball so it is a good idea to do some extra practice.

The exercise below offers a nice introduction to controlling the ball with the chest, as well as adding some extra technical elements in too.
