Drag Back Vs

Drag Back Vs are very similar to the hopping Ball mastery exercises, so are an obvious next step / progression.

They can be practices and developed in a number of ways. Some are simple. Others are a bit more complicated.

Drag back Vs can be done in one space, like a ball mastery exercise [where the steps between touches and the space used is not a factor], but TST is about game functionality [which in other words means moving between 2 spaces as effectively and efficiently as possible and the steps between touches ar part of the exercise], so the examples below show how DBVs can be developed using ' game functional' exercises.

Switch Inside V [SwiV]

Square Cones

Same-foot Outside V [ SfoV ]

Zig Zag Cones / Move Forward

Drag Back Flick Behind [DBFB]

Straight Line Cones / Move Sideways
